All of this rain….

Has been great for the garden, the vegetables are growing like crazy, but the flowers are taking a beating! The yard is so wet that I can barely spend any time outside without getting multiple mosquito bites! The roses are filled with black spot…it is just too wet, hopefully they will recover and not completely lose their leaves.

Dinner!

For Father’s Day we grilled steak and paired it with a home-grown greens salad. Some of our radishes were ready to harvest, so I mixed radish, onions, balsamic vinegar, a bit of olive oil and brown sugar and sauteed. We topped our salad with this mixture. It was a great combination of flavors with the steak!
